For Macron's last Bastille Day parade, he took the opportunity to have a larger than usual contingent of foreign troops - the "Coalition of the Willing".



Whether placement in the foreign group (who always lead the main body of marching units) was by importance, alphabetical, or rock-paper-scissors, Canada's small flag party was in the front, along with Australia and Albania. Ukraine (Zelensky was on the reviewing stand along with other Heads of State/Gov't), took up the rear.

I understand that being obese and sloppy is protected by charter rights, but couldn't the MP carrying the Canadian flag at least have visited his tailor before the parade? I mean seriously, is this how we want to portray the Canadian Forces to the world? I'll crawl back under my cold warrior/ boomer rock now.
