The breifings that were given to the reporters were embelished to make it see worse than it was.

It was the same way when we first visited the PRT compund in our LAVs.

The threat is real out there...and it's not just limited to Kandahar and the PRT compound.

Try going up and down highway 4 and 1 for a few months passing through towns that are known Taliban staging points.

Mind you the reporters that are imbeded with the PRT would make you think otherwise.
