I'll believe it when I see it.
Certainly not if there’s going to be casualties.I suspect it lacks the personal for a full CMBG anyway.
Have we seen the LVM amb yet?Too bad the replacement for that vehicle is going to deliver something that requires the casualty to be pressed above a stretcher bearer's head for load/unload. If only we had a project that will deliver pick-up sized vehicles to replace our pick-up sized vehicle.

Shitty. Let's hope they sort out some sort of lift or slide system. Wait and see when they finally announce something. We should be due for some indication soon, they're apparently ahead of schedule. We have seen the LVM-L. It is a small sky scraper.

Well the good news is there are a lot of JLTV’s around that the US Army isn’t taking now.Too bad the replacement for that vehicle is going to deliver something that requires the casualty to be pressed above a stretcher bearer's head for load/unload. Is there a medevac version of the CV90?Well the good news is there are a lot of JLTV’s around that the US Army isn’t taking now.
But quite frankly the fact is that you really need the AMPV as a medical evac system to support any sort of tracked unit.
The LAV ASCV Amb should work for transport after the Unit or Bde Aid - but I am admittedly really enamored with the AMPV Medical Treatment vehicle as it allows some actual work to be done beyond just packing wounds, resetting Tourniquets and giving fluids.
Because making large tent operating room doesn’t fly against the Russians or Chinese who will just bomb it.
For enough $ there certainly could be haha.Is there a medevac version of the CV90?
I beleive so. TBH I’m not very familiar with all their variants, I tend to avoid Big Army stuff like the plague if I can help it. The only reason found out a bunch about the AMPV is I ran into a buddy I know at a show and he was with the APM for AMPV and a few of the BAE guys went over it in great detail. I was actually impressed with the thought that went into a number of the variants. Is there a medevac version of the CV90?

All my information is just open source. According to Wikipedia, the Armadillo turretless variant can be configured as an ambulance, though of course no details if it's just medevac like the M1284 or full medical treatment like the M1285.I beleive so. Perhaps a more pertinent question is if the CV90 or Bradley is the better vehicle.
There's a point where the technical stats need to be analyzed with respect to the tactical doctrine the vehicle was designed to support. Add in serviceability and sustainability based on manufacturer and user nation's commitment to support and respective vehicles might be better in some situations while worse in others.Perhaps a more pertinent question is if the CV90 or Bradley is the better vehicle.
That's what LUV fills. It's 2 ½ ton, which is the lightest Mercedes offers it. It's more of an MLVW replacement.
We need something in the ¾ to 5/4 ton range for the G-Wagen, Milcot and LSVW.
That is the light variant to replace the LSVW. Someone decided that the HLVW replacement and LSVW replacement would have common crew cab and wheels (amongst other common bits). Instead of a light support vehicle, it will be a light logistics vehicle. And, because this project pushed forward with platform replacement blinders fully on, LSVW users who need a utility vehicle will instead get that "light" behemoth.
Let's see what LUV offers. If something like the Senator is selected, it would be too hard to adapt to fit those roles the LSVW filled in terms of logistics since the back is so big. I believe I read a nato standard pallet or two can fit in the back. Hopefully we get some ambs out of it too. We shall see. That is the light variant to replace the LSVW. Though, it will probably be great for some MLVW tasks that the MSVS is too monstrous to do.
As I understand it the LUV is strictly a GWagon and lighter vehicle replacementThat's what LUV fills.
