Hidden Democracy?

Ok with all the voting stuff and all i thought i would just  rant and get food for thought. If you know me i have my opinions!  If the Liberals get in again which i think they will , we are sheep or should i say the voters in Ontario are well paid sheep. I look at our way of government and say " Why?" . We cut down the Americans and there way of Life  and there choices for Pres. but yeah know what they have a choice and old Georgie will be gone for good, in 3 yrs. I will never see Paul Martins name on a ballot, but because they liberal in my riding is a really nice guy who owns the corner store i will vote for him. Thats why i hate it when i hear people in Timmy's talk about how they hate the government but like the Liberal next door. At least the Commies never hid the fact that who ruled. In North Korean you know whos boss( yes the funny hair guy in World Police). Here we hide it under the word Democracy. If Mr. Martins name was on the ballot i betcha that we would have a new PM but with the wrong party. We like to say we have a choice but do we really? In the States the Police Chief doesn't get crime down- Gone!. The Gov. of a State doesn't help the State improve- Gone ( plus some have actors as Gov. how cool is that!) Hey I love the country i live in! My Dad was a Marine, was mad at me for joining the CF, do i regret it Hell No! but sometimes i wish that this Country would get some great leadership and lead ! Do i thing the Conservatives can do it , i dunno i would like to see them have another shot , The NDP well that would be like Greenpeace running the Military! imagine! haha PQ only if Que leaves. Well i am just sittin here on a Thurs night reading about the Debate and had to express some views! Flame me or Flame me not!

I wouldn't say the Communists knew who was in charge - they had beautiful constitutions and elaborate political instiitutions, but the Party was the real source of power and behind that source was Dzerzinsky Square and what not.

Not to sound like that one idiot we had here a while back, but it sounds like you discontent should be aimed more at the Party system and less at Parliament.

Yeah i think so! i hate it! thats why scandals get lost here and are all over TV down there. People lose there jobs over stuff down there , Here they get re-elected! its just a piss off!

Maybe you should raise your sights past the nice guy with the corner store and see what he represents. Once you have that clearly in your sights, then decide how you will vote.
