Looking at the video, that’s either an Emergency Response Team member or a K9 member. I actually saw the friend/witness posting about this on Reddit the other day. https://www.reddit.com/r/icbc/s/Z2r0Y6ZxYa From that account, apparently the officer said another officer ‘was getting beat up’ nearby after he came back.Hit and run, then returns... hmmm

There are multiple other units that use those vehicles including guns and gangs, crime reduction and several others.Looking at the video, that’s either an Emergency Response Team member or a K9 member.
1:08 in the video, unless I’m seeing it poorly on a small screen, looks like the member’s in green. That’s what I’m basing it off of.There are multiple other units that use those vehicles including guns and gangs, crime reduction and several others.

It's literally a thing everywhere. Not to the same severity, but I have dealt with CAF members who used the CF Med system to their advantage to avoid military duties and then disregard their MELs in the personal life.
Lots of people take advantage of crap like this. The CAF has too many of them.

I have had a couple of people who were close to getting terminated magically end up on disability. They then go through the process of trying to get them to return to work. You know they aren't serious about it after multiple offers and accommodation attempts are made. This process generally drags out over years.

This will be interesting to follow. I will be interested to read how the MP policy regarding the handling of suicide calls is tested. I recall a lot of controversy over that.
