Wait, so you can leave an unrestricted rifle in your trunk while you go into Sobeys, without a trigger guard or cable, so long as it's unloaded? How far away does the ammo have to be? Can it be in the trunk with it?

Also, for gun safes and cases, are keyed locks allowed, and is so, is the key required to be a certain distance away/ under poscon at all times, or can the key be hanging from a hook right next to the safe?
