Just wondering how long it takes to get on the para course, and the mountain warfare course.

Depends on many factors - right place right time, being a good soldier, operational requirements.  Just work on being a good Infantry Soldier (I refuse to use Infanteer, I hate that politically correct speak!) and these "higher-end" goals should become clear.

I'm not in yet (Joining up next year!!)  but these are the two courses that I am most interested in. Are you aloud to take both of those courses if you can get on them?

Sure, many Infantry soldier have both qualifcations, among others - one thing is for certain, if you are joining the Infantry, they are going to teach you lots.
