how many of you have been in more then one unit

I'm a silly civvy now, but I was 831 Adm Clk until they took that away from us and absorbed us into the Borg Logistics Branch and called us RMS Clks.

I was Air Force Regs (enrolled 1990), posted to 407 (MP) Sqn, 19 Wing Comox, and then (in a total culture shock!) 2 RCR Gagetown.  Don't ever get the idea that I didn't like 2 RCR.  On the contrary, I loved it.  It was just a little different than what I had gotten used to in Comox.

In Gagetown, my (now ex-) wife decides to take the kids and bugger off.  Probably for the best (except for the kids part :().  I decided that the kids growing up knowing what their Dad looks like is more important than any career I had in the Forces, so I got out.  Civvy life sucked and I got back in the Reserves in Vancouver (Seaforth of C).  I was there until 2000 when I fully got out because I had to either get on with my life on civvy street or get back in the Regs.

What can I say...  I often think I have a habit of making bad decisions.  :crybaby:

It,s hard to pick a favorite when quirks in postings requires one to rebadge. I joined 1- PPCLI 73-77, then of to Germany in 77 to 3 Mech which became just before I arrived 3RCR 77-83. Been out of the Military loop quite awhile and i get kind of jealous when I see some of the new equipment ,( be it ever so slow in its arrival), that the troops are finally starting to get. Miss it like crazy but watching these young troops perform assures me all is well. Cheers!
