Iraq Claims Foreigners Threatening Mosque

This whole Iraq mosque thing is such a joke.
If the US Military raids the Mosque and kills/captures Moqtad and Co that will be a blow to the terrorists, but the terrorists will use it as propaganda against the Americans ("America's War on Islam"), which will alienate the local population and perhaps get more recruits for the terrorists, which is not good for the US Military or the Iraqi Government.
If the US Military doesn't raid the Mosque and leaves the terrorists alone they will go on to kill Americans, Iraqis, Brits or what have you, and Moqtad Al-Sadr will remain and continue to spread hate and violence.
Quite the situation they're in, eh? Damned if they do and damned if they don't and of course there are all of us, each with our own opinions on how it should be handeled, off on the sidelines judging each and every little thing they do, which further ties their hands when it comes to dealing with this mess.
