I'm highly interested in the army/air force for a variety of reasons. I've always wanted to be a pilot, and I would love to be a pilot in the air force. There's also a variety of jobs I'm interested in from the army (example: signals, infantry, stuff that's right on the frontline working). I've done the Air Cadet program (Well still am.) The thing is- I don't know if it's right. I like everything about it, no doubt but I have the capabilities to enter a university and become a doctor and make huge salaries. My marks are staggering high. I don't know what kind of money you can achieve in the military (that's not the main reason I'm interested but I don't wanna be poor. >.>). Are there a lot of very intelligent people in the military (well I know there are but to degrees of frontline jobs like infantry)? I thought it would be more appropriate to ask here than a recruiter-as I'm not of age yet.

Well your young, so I take it you don't know too much about the military; no offence with the smiley. Yes they're are intelligent folks in the military; it takes a different type of 'breed' to make it in the military, be they non-commissioned or commissioned. Not everyone can make it or handle it. Generally, Most commissioned personnel; ie officers require a degree, be they pilot, doctor or infantry. Those that do not, are CFR'ed (commissioned from the ranks) in which they have beaucoup experience in the branch. In my humble opinion ONLY, they usually make the better officers).
