Israeli strikes on Iran (2024, 2025, etc.)

Even if they weren't aiding and abetting, I think they'd give much more serious consideration to doing so now...
Considering that all military wunderwaffe of russian army are mostly Putin's animated propaganda presentations, I personally doubt they can do much.
Well, at least embarrassing break down of highly promoted Armata T-14 super tank on Red Square during the parade, explosion of nuke powered torpedo, downing of "5-th gen. stealth" fighter jets Su-57 and "hypersonic" missiles Kh-47M2 over Ukraine, etc. pretty obvious show of postured bluffs inherited from USSR traditions.
Most likely half of nukes in russian possession with expired date and another half would fly into unpredictable directions.

One problem is that there are a lot of diverse ethnic groups in Iran; Kurds along the Iraq/Turkish border to just name one group. If Iranian control starts to break down you could see some of these groups try to break away. You could also see, for instance Kurds in Iraq/Turkey coming across the border to support their brethren.

As they say, "May you live to interesting times."
It's easier to deal with fighting fractions by isolating that country from world than to handle well established and organized islamic (or commi for that matter) dictature which holds country by iron glove and has huge human resource and natural resource wealth.

A combined 60,000+ lbs of high explosives, yeah, I’d say so. I don’t think centrifuges are very hardened against shock.

Hopefully the uranium already in there has been badly contaminated and buried in such a way that it’s difficult and time consuming to recover.
I’d love to see the facility’s interior but I don’t think the Ayatollah will be in the mood to share.

Russia knows that we wouldn’t think twice about killing a lot of them if it meant keeping the bomb from Iran.

We can also do it very discreetly if we want.

Generally Iran has had setbacks in the past decades of exploding rockets that often manage to blow up and take the design team with them…

The Mossad aren’t that subtle when trying to send messages.

POTUS has very overtly gone after the Iranian program this time, and I doubt that he will have any qualms about using clandestine forces to do what is felt is needed on the ground in Iran or…

Keep in mind the NRO had a spare Hubble telescope in the scrap yard years before NASA was able to have one looking outwards.

Resolution from our Satellites is thousands of times better than one will get with commercial imaging.

The most secret of all the US Military Special Mission Units deals with Non Proliferation issues…

Which one’s that?

It used to be know as the Intelligence Support Activity, then later when pulled into JSOC as Task Force Orange.
Ok, I half-guessed that based on the known SMUs but wasn’t sure if there was another one, or if you maybe meant SAC/SOG.

Does SOCOM have anything like CJIRU or is that simply a capability built into the larger existing units?

I personally don’t think it’s a good idea to bring them back. The Shah was crowned by the US and Britain and Imperial Oil. And the Shah’s secret police aren’t thought of fondly,
Might be better to let an organic movement form, while taking out leadership of the IRGC, secret police and other groups the government uses to suppress the people there.
