Israeli strikes on Iran (2024, 2025, etc.)

SO whatever genius named that piece of kit didn't think it all the way through cause he was thinking with his.....massive penetrator....

It is technically called the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, but I mean you know why the O was inserted ;)

An entire week has passed by. Why would anyone think that there is anything left but empty caves? At the very least they will have evacuated the current stock of enriched uranium and be working on the centrifuges and other precision equipment as well

Spitballing here but:

What IF the Israelis have several "moles" inside Iran, all reporting movements of vehicles, equipment and pers?

A certain someone sounds like they got a real earful, and thus flipflopped.

Doesn't sound like Iran is very keen for a ceasefire either, even though their teeth are thoroughly being kicked in. The Foreign Minister also got a dose of humiliation on his way to Geneva and had to inform the IDF of his flight, since Israel controls a good chunk of Iranian airspace now.

Iran will never agree to halt all uranium enrichment and Israel must stop its air campaign before any negotiations with the U.S. can proceed, the Iranian foreign minister said.

Probably because the ISR data feeds, the humint and the fact that moving tons of material and equipment is much easier on TV than real life.

The U.S. is working really hard right now to telegraph to Iran that they’re about to get the shit kicked out of them.

Currently two flights of four tankers are each westbound over Kansas and Colorado on routes and headings consistent with picking up B2s out of Whiteman. They’ve been broadcasting on open air traffic control frequencies that they’re tanking flights using the call signs “MYTEE”, which are previously known B2 call signs.

The timing lines up about right for passage west of Hawaii in about ten hours while a NOTAM is in effect for tanker ops off Hawaii.

Can’t really know if B2s are actually moving. Either they are, and the intent is everyone sees it, or they’re not and the intent is everyone thinks it. This kinda has the feel of “I’m gonna count to five, and if you don’t…”

The online plane nerds will keep tracking this and see if a new wave of tankers picks up near the coast, and then near Hawaii in the morning.

If I was designing a concealed fortress I would ensure that there was an alternative entrance/exit dug that led to a second area well removed from my primary facility. The Persians aren't fools, they were aware when they started that Israel at the very least would probably go after them hammer and tong and would have planned accordingly.

The telegraphing continues; tankers continued to broadcast overnight. A subsequent wave of rankings happened near the coast, and a fresh wave of tankers just took off near Hawaii.

It’s interesting how the U.S. is leveraging open source collection to send this signal. And the duration of a B2 flight is long enough to give them a good day and a half or more to consider the implications and whether they really want to stay resistant.

The moon’s at 18% right now and waning towards 0% on Wednesday night.

USS Nimitz should also be arriving in the middle east this weekend, coincidentally.

And it looks like the administration got a grip on DNI Gabbard. She’s singing the company song about Iranian nuclear ambitions now:

Major media has now picked up and is reporting the bomber moves.
