King Charles III

Really?
The PM flies in one jet. POTUS has the palatial AF1 (gifted from Qatar), plus a C17 to carry 2 Beasts, plus an escort of fighter jets.
I doubt it’s even close.
Every time POTUS goes somewhere it’s about the equivalent of a battalion deployment.

More than one. All primary motorcade vehicles have to be moved, including S/S vehicles, plus spares and often decoy convoy vehicles. There also may be a decoy AF1 flight.

POTUS flights require multiple aircraft not including the occasional fighter escorts. When you think of the costs it is beyond eyewatering. Then add in the amount of taxpayer monies used to fund and house the SS details to protect all the former presidents until they die….its insane.

Arguably, the head of state with the biggest target on his back would be Zelensky. How many does he travel with?

As a US taxpayer, I'd hope that they've prepositioned all the stuff POTUS needs at Mar Logo since he seems to go there every weekend.

He's monetized every other piece of the Presidency, the rental costs to store vehicles etc there would not doi t be eye watering.

Here's the approximate cost to fly Trump around.

So much easier than guessing.

I'm not worried about being wrong or sarcastic. Comes with the territory for a Conspiracy Theorist.

Thats a pretty useless article…

You mean this generalized response?

Ahhh, you mean your anonymous article you posted without links to the original and no cost figures? Yeah, that one. The one that does nothing except rhyme off the sometimes TO&E it takes to make trump fly. Like I said, I wasn't right and admitted it. Move along.

I suppose it depends. His recent travels around Canada appear to have been on a 737-sized aircraft (my guess). It arrived in North Bay apparently unescorted. Here, he did not leave airport property. My daughter was there and didn't even see any local cops.

In Toronto (Mississauga) he got the full-court-press motorcade with overwatch (by a RCMP Blackhawk, apparently taking a break from border security duties). No doubt somebody will do an FOI to determine the cost.

Edit: Forgot to add a link.

And Carney is off to Europe again today. This time to address the EU council about what a great deal it would be to let Canada become an 'Associate' EU member. Any Canadian citizen could then go there and work, no visa needed. What he failed to mention is that that is reciprocal. ANY EU citizen can come here, sans visa, and settle down.

One reason the Brits wanted to pull out of the EU was its fishing rights. Once they joined, their fishing grounds were decimated by EU fisheries that had not been allowed to fish there before.

I wonder what happens if the EU decide we had some mineral, chemical or whatever, the the Union needed. Does Canada just roll over and acquiesce to their wishes?

The squinty, bespectacled, visor wearing Belgian bureaucrats hustle around the hallways chanting 'What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine'.

Except that isnt what he's there for... both Canadian and EU officals have confirmed it.

The whole point of this exercise is to get the EU to really embrace the idea that Canada has what they want, and if they help us invest in the infrastructure, we can get the stuff over there.

but only after 10 years of court cases. How do we get shovels in the ground expeditiously when half or more of the areas under consideration are under the control of local tribes people who are being funded from elsewhere to file grievances? We have ceded control over much of our resource rich territories and regardless of what Ottawa says our development is hamstrung by legalities.

Canada…red-tape capital of the world.
