my name is Jörg , and I'm the press speaker of the RTVB, the local Tug-of-War association of Baden, which is a part of south Germany. In the moment we create a book about the tug-of-war history in Baden, and Canadian military teams play a role in that.
During the late 80th and beginning 90th three teams from the Canadian Airbase in Lahr take place in our league to be prepared for a kind of military commonwealth games in London. The teams were in 1991:
4 Service Battalion
R22Rer
Artillery
We still have the results of our league, but we would like to add some informations about the outcome of the games in London, and maybe some pictures of all teams. All I have are some pictures of the 4 service battalion from London, but we don't know the year.
Can somebody help us to find the right persons to speak to?
