I am currently a CPL in the CAF. My second contract will be ending next summer, I currently have an AVOTP but it looks like I might be missing the deadline. I was wondering if I let my contract run out then immediately reapply for the trade I want to switch to if there would be any problems with this.
Leaving then immediately rejoining

I would also recommend that you request to speak to your BPSO (Base Personal Selection Officer) about an OT (Occupational Transfer) to the other occupation that you want as your military career.
