Hi everyone,
There is something really bothering me while I am still waiting for the result of security screening for joining CAF.
I got hit by a car when it just started in California in May 2024, it hit my left leg. I did X-ray, MRI and CT scan, just to figure out what happened to my leg and whether I am still qualified to join CAF.
Here are some concerns of the diagnotics reports:
MRI:
1. Single low-grade oblique chondral fissure +/- flap tear involving the lateral patellar facet.
2. No meniscal tear.
3. Intact cruciate and collateral ligaments.
SPECT:
1. Foci of bone remodeling in the feet, moderately active medial left midfoot, presumably stress reaction/posttraumatic given the age of the patient rather than developing arthritis but not excluded. More lowgrade foci in the great toe regions.
2. No active bone remodeling around the knees to suggest bony contusion or healing fracture.
I am still waiting for the CT scan report, my questions are:
1. Will the knee injury DQ me?
2. Will the potential feet bones bruising or fracture DQ me?
3. Can anyone find medical standards of CAF regarding of bones, joints? I read some articles saying that ununited fractures can DQ candidates, but not sure about my condition.
Thank you guys so very much!
