Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

Not a good look for someone with decades in parliament.
Maybe they couldn't come up with a catchy 3 word rhyming slogan; Co-Pilot suggests the following;

"Budget Smarter. Live Better. Amend the Budget."

Huge fumble, they are turning into the Spilly McSpilly drinker of Canadian politics. Pretty crazy they would miss that one though, parliamentary procedural requirements is Getting things done 101.

Elizabeth May is reportedly very good at that, and how she manages to get even just speaking time without ever having party status as well as propose bills and do other things in committees. Maybe PP should spend more time learning his job and leading the team instead of sending out personal threats and smear jobs. Cost them in the election with multiple Conservative Premiers not supporting them, maybe they should learn from it, especially when his leadership style was particularly highlighted as a driving factor in the defection.

You don't quit jobs, you quit managers, and his team (including Jenny Byrne) seems to be pretty shit. Without his easy 'F&ck Trudeau' button he really seems to be struggling to be effective.

No surprise, the NDP and all the other parties are broke, so sure they will support it, and Bloc and CPC are counting on that so there isn't an actual fall of the government.

Would be crazy if they become the power broker again without official party status, or if Elizabeth May can push Green Party items, because the other two idiots are too busy cutting of their own noses.

It would be nice to see a Liberal/Conservative grand coalition. We might see a little less silliness from all involved.

Holy shit. Matt generou just resigned
Didn't he just say he wasn't going anywhere 24 hours ago? Seems on par.

Just like d'Entremont. 40 days ago Chris d’Entremont said his constituents were hurting under Mark Carney’s government & warned that another massive Liberal deficit would make things worse. Carney doubles the deficit, and d'Etremont gets hearts in his eyes. Don't worry, "he talked to constituents and he' doing it for them".

How many more, I wonder....

Question is what breaks first, the CPC or Poilievre?

Pierre is done.

Question is who succeeds him, not many charismatic voices in the party these days.

Someone is going to have to mount a fight and likely clean house.

Ford? Houston? James Moore? Rona Ambrose?

Not sure the CPC base as it is would tolerate any of those.

Do their need Charismatic at this point in the game?
They need a voice of reason and clarity. Someone electable.

He's not crossing the floor. He's resigning as a member of parliament. So his seat will be open and a by-election will have to be called (unless the government falls before that time).

Anyone willing to make an educated guess as to which party will win a by-election in Edmonton Riverbed?

Closer than some would imagine.

But I think Carney leaves it open for quite a while...
