Seems the Cons are making some changes...
Good recent interview:
Good recent interview:

Nah, my money’s on the dockworkers’ union guy from out west. A return to blue collar labour roots. NDP lost a lot of that to CPC last election and should be frightened by that fact.
This is the situation and position most Progressive Conservatives/Red Tory find themselves in.
Good call - let's see how the Team Blue ship sails with this guy as the navigator/ops O.Seems the Cons are making some changes...

Stellantis is in the process of hiring 1,400 workers for the return of the third shift at Windsor Assembly Plant, despite the ongoing trade war with the US.www.ctvnews.ca
That's a fantastic read.Except I don’t think “Red Tory” and “Reform”, etc work anymore. I’m an OG Reform/CA voter and I’m not comfortable with the turn the Tories are taking. Ben Woodfinden had a good article in The Line how it’s more a split between struggling young people (who have no idea what a Red Tory or Reformer are) and comfortable Boomers. As a Gen X’er, I straddle these two worlds so I’m kind of schizophrenic.
Anyways, it’s an interesting read.

Anecdotally, the pain level seems to have gone down, and the noise level around it certainly has- atleast in my area of rural SW Ontario.Do you feel this is where Canada is currently at?

Gas isn't 1.85, mortgage rates have come down, housing prices are dropping as the urban-> rural flow has stalled/reversed.
There are still angry and hurting people, but it seems like a much less universal state- even though there's still a lingering pessimistic feeling.

Meal or just the sandwich?I'm sure those in support of Carney and the LPC will tell you things have improved. And I guess just not being his predecessor is an improvement, but I paid 16$ for a chicken shawarma on Saturday night...

I think the atmosphere improved.I'm sure those in support of Carney and the LPC will tell you things have improved. And I guess just not being his predecessor is an improvement, but I paid 16$ for a chicken shawarma on Saturday night...
Brutal. I usually get it at around 11 bucks.I wouldn't call a shawarma a sandwich but using your nomenclature, sandwich.
However, in the spring, Nutrien even offered to build in either Vancouver or Prince George if the Carney government wanted to prove its commitment to unleashing growth in the Canadian economy
