Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

They're even showing in Alberta the CPC's lead has shrunk to +4 over the LPC, and Carney (54%) is now viewed more favorably than Poilievre (45%) in the province. Weather is right for more floor crossings.
Not to derail this thread, but I wonder how much of the LPCs boost in AB is a direct result of the behaviour and speech of the AB separatist movement.

The more the cozying up to America happens, the more likely it is that people will pull away from a party too closely associated with separatists.

Alberta has a 54% approval rating for Carney, so it's probably more about his leadership...

Overall, two-thirds (64%) say Carney has done a good or great job handling the Canada–U.S. relationship so far — nearly identical to the proportion (63%) who approve of his overall performance as prime minister.

You might be on to something, further down the page.

Smith sitting at -60%.

I probably would too minus China going from public enemy #1 to besties after a few handshakes and smiles.

I'd also demand my MP push for an investigation into the circles him and his spouse ran in, and whose shoulders they rubbed with.
Apparently Mr. Carney was mentioned in the Epstein files 68 times (so far)

I have no idea if Mr. Carney did anything inappropriate or not. But getting mentioned 68 times in the biggest mass sex-trafficking disclosure ever doesn't look good...

And hanging out with Epstein & Maxwell socially, at music festivals? Again, not a good look...

But I'm sure everything was totally fine...

Bunkum!

Most appearances are references to news articles mentioning Carney while he was governor of the Bank of England and none contain correspondence between the prime minister and Epstein.

. . . an AFP analysis of the released DOJ documents did not reveal any messages between Carney and the financier or discussions about them meeting.
Most of the mentions relate to news items from Carney's time as governor of the Bank of England which landed in Epstein's inbox. For example, 38 of the 69 mentions are from roundups of "key events" referencing Carney's takeover of the central bank on July 1, 2013 (archived here, here and here).
Epstein subscribed to multiple email newsletters, so several public figures appear in the released files purely for that reason. A majority of the other mentions of Carney fall into this category of news articles included either in newsletters or market summaries (archived here, here and here).

There you go, getting all fact-y and context-y and shit - how do you expect haters to meme stuff like this?
Looks like around 58% of the files have been released so far according to the DOJ.

Other analyses apparently say only an estimated 2% of data has been released.

There's still time for memes (and regular double standards to apply).

Very true - and that’s just counting people who don’t make stuff up for zingers.

Getting inked today.

Following negotiations that concluded in October, the two countries are expected to sign a deal today related to the exchange and protection of classified military and defence information.

In October, Ottawa said the agreement would be a legal base to improve collaboration on everything from defence procurement and industrial security to research.
