Not sure if its appreciated enough how little things like that go a long way around the world when you step out of your comfort zone and attempt to say a few words or a phase in another language. Its a sure way to gain some instant respect and understanding.

The difference is authenticity. The fact that Carney lived and worked in Japan in his past made his effort to speak Japanese authentic and heartfelt.

Carney is a very likeable guy but lets not blow this a bit out of proportion. He rhymed off some words in Japanese for 8 seconds. Level of difficulty - making your thumb disappear in front of medieval villagers. I can say stop or I'll shoot (and some other pleasantries) in 3 different languages. Let's not canonize Carney for saying bless you after someone sneezes.

I don't spend my time here incessantly and almost psychotic raving about the US President and government, like you've been doing since 2017. I moved my position on trump awhile ago, so I don't much care what he's doing anymore. You do a good job about keeping me informed about trump and his hegemony.

It would probably be more useful to find a link that wasn't burdened with a clear bias against the Prime Minister and that appears bent on simply finding (or fabricating) fault as opposed to providing a balanced assessment of his mandate.

ah! He could have done a lighter shade of black face as well to complete the appearance. Wasn't criticizing Carney by the way, just highlighting the differences in our past and present leadership. To be honest, I don't trust Carney but I can respect him as a leader and cheer him on with what he is trying to achieve. I am just a little skeptical as to when action will replace rhetoric.

Thanks. As you say, make sure to check out any points worth considering. There is nothing wrong with exposing one of the worst Canadian governments in history. I posted it in case anyone was interested. Just an FYI.
