Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

Hey, it's only been one year since his Coronation. Give all these big projects that's he's fast-tracked a chance to drum up some jobs. You know, all those projects that he wrote down on his little list? At least half of those must have advanced in some way by now? MOU's make me laugh and people are eating it up because they are insanely naive. Carney's favorite political tool. They essentially say "we CAN do things, we will make it LOOK like we are doing things by signing this, but we probably won't do the thing".
We are also dealing with an active US trade war, ill wait to see march numbers to see the effects of China lifting many of its tariffs. Among other things that happened towards the end of Feb that we would see the effects of in march. We can make fun on MOUs but its a very business minded approach to start getting deals.

SCOTUS ruling the tariffs being illegal hasnt filled played out either. The damage is done but how can we recover?

👍🏼

LoI > MoU > Contract/Agreement.
It is only real when.....what exactly?

I can't believe that you are falling for this. Obviously contracts are lame, and the tool of libcuck elites.. Trips abroad should include cargo planes to bring home tangible proof, like bags of money, boatloads of weapons, thousands of immediate jobs, and a chicken in every pot.

When is a fair amount of time to expect deliverables ? I just want to know so I can set my clock.

Dont get me wrong, the PM or DND should of put out a statement but we do need to know who knew what and when.

Apparently enough thats its causing a stir in the media.

I understand the messiah and his followers don't like criticism though so the push back is understood.

Outside of the already widely reported strikes on Ali Al Salem Air Base since this thing has started, what exactly is the story here? There's the damage from said strikes and no reported (Canadian) injuries.

Did this MP and/or MSM only just recently discover we had a presence there?

EDIT: The Canadian specific damage in question.

Don’t bother. Maga north sees nothing wrong with trump’s approach or the effects it has on us. Facts don’t matter.

I find the funny part is the people who are acting star-struck at Carney following business SOPs whether it's public grip and grins or dropping a few Arigatōs.

Or the ones upset by it.

I believe very much plenty just want him to fail.

Totally agree with you. There's large camps on both sides of the river that seem more concerned about the respective leaders failing than the state of our country.

To Carneys credit he seems uninterested in the tit for tadpole back and forth that's became entrenched over the last decade.

I hope that he’s able to refrain from it for as long as he’s PM.

No, that's not right. Ministerial by-elections were abolished in 1931 by the Bennett government, long before Pearson. And Pearson retired in 1968, so he couldn't have been involved in repealing something in the 70s.

Thanks for the correction (which doesn't change the gist of what I said, just the timing of the Independence Act). I was mislead by a book by a commentator of the Canadian political scene (conservative whose name starts with Ratz..) who pined it to around early 1960's.

I think that is one of his strengths. Plus I don’t see him lecturing as much as the last guy.

Trudeau would either antagonize or respond in kind to attacks on him which turned away a lot of people. PP played foil to that and used his already long career as an attack dog to good effect.

We finally have a politician not responding to that stuff and people have noticed.

PP didn’t figure that out until far too late.
