Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

The account posted a clip from CTV news where they talk about flood of job losses etc.
The fact that it’s a shrill from the CLC on there a week before the NDP leadership convention.
The great thing about Economists and Doctors? Bring 3 of them in a room and you’re sure to get at least 4 or more opinions.

I like that he shits on people that show up late to his meetings, or poorly attired.

He and Trump have at least one thing in common: a fixation on shoes ;)

What we know about Mark Carney shows how little we know our Canadian PM
He hates brown shoes, prefers British spellings, has little patience and keeps a tight inner circle. He's no Justin Trudeau

Survey says: ~3/4 responding say "no, thanks" to CAN military role in IRN fracas (across all parties)

Deets on how the survey was done:
The Angus Reid Institute conducted an online survey from March 11-16, 2026, among a randomized sample of 3,467 Canadian adults. Respondents are drawn from the Angus Reid Forum, a large-scale online panel developed to include Canadian residents in each of the 343 federal ridings in Canada and representative of the Canadian population by age, gender, family income, ethnic status and education. The sample was weighted to be representative of adults nationwide according to region, gender, age, household income, and education, based on the Canadian census. For comparison purposes only, a probability sample of this size would carry a margin of error of +/- 1.5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Discrepancies in or between totals are due to rounding. The survey was self-commissioned and paid for by ARI.

LATE ADD -- On another front, Canadaland asks an interesting question: "How could money tied to a sanctioned regime end up moving through Toronto?"
More on IRN's crypto stuff here
"Suspicious transactions at GTA crypto shops reveal alleged links to Iran-backed terror groups. Is the regulator doing enough to police them?" (Toronto Star, archived link)

It’s funny more NDPers are ok with Canadian involvement than Liberals. It’s probably statistically equal, but still interesting.

Interesting to see how these two desires overlap....
