PM Carney has called three by-elections for the end of August. These will be for seats vacated by two LPC and one CPC MP. Winning one of the three will give LPC 171, which is enough for a majority by current Parliamentary math and given other pending resignations.

A few more MPs are on the way out but have not yet formally resigned, so probably a second by of by-elections in October some time.

Both you and Halifax skirted around the the issue of distraction and went straight to the punitive.

No one is skirting around anything. Managers should manage. If you have a team member not being productive fix that. There are multiple and escalating ways to fix it.

So do you simply offer it as an option when hiring, provide it with family flexibility written in or take the simple solution of mandating time in the office? Just asking.

The highlighted portion is what I think would be a fair proposition.
