Very accountable, go over the speed limit and you are paying heavy fines. I suspect most Canadians would not want to live under their very rule-bound system.
Which is also a system they actively choose to support. The beauty of the Swiss system is their people choose the path and they can also change it at will. It could have very loose rules or alternatively it could have more restrictive rules, but all is decided by the public.
Hard to say. It would depend on whether the legislation is viewed by the court as being a Section 1 'reasonable limitation' on Section 3 democratic rights.
