Hello everyone, I apologize if this isn't aloud or the norm, Im looking for photos, Information, or even funny stories of my Opa, Sergeant Wayne Chapman. He passed away in 1990 from lung cancer. Unfortunately I never got to meet him, and my oma doesn't have a lot of his military photos. I'm just curious to learn more about him, what he did, his role in the RCD, and in Lahr. My oma told me he was a tank commander but I'm not sure if it's true, he did have tank trophy's however and medals. I know he was a Dragoon and a Hussar at one point, and that's about it. I was told he was well liked in the community. I named my first son after his tank, Leo, Oma said the Centurion and the Leopard are what he was in. I'd also like to learn about his placement in the battle order so I can try and make a replica of his tanks, like my father was 11C in 1 RCR, but I dont know anything of Opa, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
