Hi everyone,

I am writing an article and wish to interview members of the Canadian Forces. I would love to hear from women who have previously been deployed or spent time in a training base away from a partner or spouse. The interview would focus on the effects of the distance a military career causes in a relationship.

If you are interested, or know of someone who might be, please send an email to solars (at) live (dot) ca. Post a comment or email the same address if you need more information.

Thank you,

Zhina

Oddly enough had a briefing on this last week.
I would recommend you contact your nearest Canadian forces public relations officer.

If you have no luck here, PM me. Going through a PAO is a fantastic idea, just fantastic. With the pragmatism developed by years of covering the Canadian Forces, let me assure you that if you put in your interview request this afternoon, in no more than six months from tomorrow morning, you'll get an interview with a light colonel in an office that tracks imposed restriction and who, if you are incredibly lucky, will have a PowerPoint presentation with a wiring diagram showing the reporting procedure for the file.
