Currently going into my 5th year as an armour ncm in the P Res, however, I wish to shift my career to something I’m more interested in which is anything tech and IT. I recently completed a network security course and less importantly got my comptia A+.
One thing I’m wondering with the ATIS trade is posting preferences and availability in the trade today? As a reservist, I have the freedom to work where I please which has worked out for me in my personal life. Deployments and training aren’t a concern for me, I know what is required of reg f personnel. Long term posting location is what I’m a bit worried about due to compassionate reasons within my relationship, we are based in NS and my partner provides significant support to her family here.
If anyone can shed some light on the likeliness of a trained ATIS being able to provide posting preferences to shearwater or greenwood and how that looks after trg in Kingston that would be wicked.
