We all know he was attacked for being a drama teacher and snowboard instructor. By a lot of Canadians. We know this. If he had been an incompetent Prime Minister (which he most definitely wasn't), then NO ONE would give a rats ass what he did before he got into politics. However, he has been an international embarrassment and economic failure. So yes, then we do look into his past and say WTF? Ohhh look, Harper was right about all of it.
Somehow you missed that, because your stuck on identity politics. You keep saying "the right this and that"...We are saying CANADIANS are fed up with both Trudeau and the LPC.
Lets not forget bottom line here on another act of selfishness, we shouldn't be halting government so the LPC can pick a new leader.

His total lack of personality is not going to win people over (just the die hard liberals who need a "saviour"), his past comments at the WEF and other events will make near impossible for him to distance himself from Trudeau at all.
Has anyone noticed the LPC cabinet has iced out Freeland hard? Revenge for turning against Trudeau, I guess.

Encouraging 250k people to sign up to the liberal party (a party he has been very against lately) would compromise the integrity of our system as campaign to vote bomb a leadership election influenced by someone supporting a rival political party.

You aren’t actually concerned about ‘halting’ government anyway; you’ve been crystal clear that as soon as Parliament was to have resumed (tomorrow), you hoped to see a confidence matter fail, and a dissolution of government which WOULD include the executive branch going into a much more limited caretaker state.
And that’s totally fine. Lots of us want an ASAP election at this point. But let’s just be honest about what the concerns are and aren’t.
How do you get ‘election fraud’? What laws do you contend are being broken? Being an idiot isn’t inherently illegal. If what he proposes is within the law and the rules set by the party, so be it.

I don't think it's fear. I think it's an opportunity to influence an outcome in a favourable manner. That's how I see it, and why I joined the party; again.
Something that the LPC has left wide open on their own.

So the front runner is not the one conservatives want. Still sounds about right that they feel he’s a threat. I don’t blame them. PP is not as popular as some think.
Although that can change based on a fleshed out campaign.
