Medical Evaluation

Hello all,

    We've been sending some people for medicals lately, and I was just curious as to what exactly the medical consists of (once you're already in the CF).  I did a search on this subject and couldn't pull anything up for subjects other than enrolment medical.

    Do they do the entire medical over again, with physical, hearing, vision, etc?  I'm not due for another few years, but my interest has been raised.

Yes they do the entire medical and more depending on the age of the person being examined.  Further tests may be required depending what is learnt during the general examination.

What Kincanucks said - it's age specific what's done, but normally eyes, hearing, height/weight, pee, +/- bloodwork and ECG's, an interview and actual physical exam.
