Hi everyone
I need some advice for my case. I applied to CAF, specifically as an Engineer Officer. I completed my medical and Interview in the first week of June 2025. After completing the medical the recruiting center gave me a form to complete it from a local hearing clinic. I completed the test and submitted the form on 13 June 2025. Instantly they informed me that my file is sent to Ottawa for a review by the medical unit/doctor and approximately it may take more or less 8 weeks.
Since then I am in this limbo and waiting to get an update regarding my file. This month I contacted with the recruiting center and they (my file manager) informed me that as of today they don't have any update for me, plus they don't know when my file will be reviewed.
I am rooting for a decision as I put a lot of effort in it and if they think that I am medically unfit to serve in the CAF then they should let me know and I want to move forward. This kind of uncertainty killing me each and every day, and I am totally clueless what to do.
