From what I found on a quick google search "Currently, the maximum fine(in Canada) for animal abuse is 6 months in jail, $2,000 in fines and a ban on owning animals for 2 YEARS."

Luckily he was an American, he deserves alot more. Although he probably had other charges.

Luckey he was American? He faced up to 5 years in jail so how is he lucky he was American?

Then stop making posts for awhile, you have not posted anything that is particularily eye opening nor intelligent. When corrected or shown the error of your ways you throw a temper tantrum like a 3 year old.
