Military Resume

Right, figured might as well check her what with the accumulated knowledge  :warstory:

Anywho, I need some advice on re-doing my resume... the old one is geared towards a computer related job, and details all my experience with things of that nature... Now I need to find work in my new field, (security and or policing) and have no idea what to put on it regarding my military experience.

Perhaps someone who has made a successfull miltary based resume, or perhaps even handles resumes on a day-to-day basis.

I pretty much need to tear my resume down to scratch, and start off fresh.

I remember seeing an example of military skills in a sample resume on a DND web site...it's the dept. that helps reservist/employer relations, and I can't for the life of me remember what the dept. is called or what the URL is...can't seem to find it on the DND home page.

Maybe someone else will recall the dept. name.

I think that is what you are referring to... problem is it doesnt help me too much, and the 'military skills translator' doesnt help much, as it says there are no related civilian occupations for Infantry  :
