Montreal Earthquake?

I'm in Montreal and didn't feel it. Granted, I'm pretty far from the epicenter, but I doubt it was felt that greatly anywhere but very close to the epicenter.

From what I understand (from the news), the quake was under the "damage level" so there probably wasn't any damage or physical harm.

Yep, sure did!  Thought at the time it must be an earthquake, but was skepticle.  I was on the 2nd floor of the MEGA.  Went up to my room on the 11th floor and my roomie asked if I'd just felt the building shaking a bit.

I'm in the MTL area, I was sound asleep at that time and it didn't wake me up.

i'm living in st-jean and i felt it, it shake for about 2 seconds, I ask myslef if it was a big truck passing by or a explosion because it did'nt last very long..

I remeber about 2 years ago, there was 2 tremors in Pickering (about 5 mins east of Toronto) Apparently there is a big fault line right underneath the Pickering nuke plant. One of the reasons that inspired me to move. The second one woke me up, it was like a ka-BOOOOOOOM...with a second or 2 rumble at the end. I thought it was kinda cool. That's as close as I ever want to be to a real time dangerous earth quake. Can you imagine if parts of Canada were as bad as California, or Tokyo? Man that would suck. I think we got it pretty good here as far as natural disasters go; not reaaly any tornados, hurricaines, earthquakes dust/sand storms etc. I think the worst thing we have, that happens oftem, is the -30 weather, -45 with the wind chill(That's as cold as it got so far in Lindsay Ont) I suppose the threat of a tsunami is always there, but all in all we got it pretty good.
