You think if Canada was invaded that the government would finally give the CF the funding it needs?

I think that if Canada was invaded, at that point it would be a little too late to increase funding.
Unless you mean that if Canada was invaded, and we were not conquered, would the government then spend more on the armed forces?
My guess would be yes.

In my experience things don't get done until its to late, example is 9/11 (don't want to get into that too much right now.)

Knowing the liberals, they probabily wouldn't give any money to the CF.

Canada would need to pay of the debts for any major spending on the CF. Anyways I don't think the military is on the priority list.

I'm not so sure we'll ever see a budget that will allow us to do everything that is asked of us. Though, because of the constant cash crunch, I believe we have gained a reputation as being an extremely resourceful lot.

If we were invaded, or had some kind of terrorist attack, we would be blamed for not providing enough security at the borders.....
