Both could have made pyramids of skulls. I'm not sure which one qualifies more as a Terrorist though. I have my money on Timur. (By any chance, was anyone else just reminded of South Park?)

This thread doesn't look too healthy...

wow. i didn't realize that an attempt at starting a discussion could go to hell so quickly. seems like some "senior members" around here are more interested in showing their power and shutting people down than giviing the topic a chance. seems like i did not clarify the topic well enough, but i thought it was pretty clear. anyway, this is my last comment on the topic. thanks to those who made relevant replies. feel free to close this thread.

True about 'whats more blue' comment.

Not to piss in anyones pocket here, but to sum up, any or all of the 'current islamic terr orgs' who have targeted and MURDERED in COLD blood innocent civilans (Madrid, Istanbul, London, Kuta Beach, etc along with beheadings and torture of western civilains etc), and are opposed to our way of life by wanting us (including your grandparents, your women and your children) DEAD, are infact the face of true evil in its most purest form, and hence should be wiped of the face of the earth with EXTREME prejudice.

They are all filth, and cancers of today's society on a war aginst the west, not just the Great Satan, hellbent on a mission of their twisted extremist faith so they all gotta go, like it or 'naught' to be exercised off the planet in the most efficient means. Bombs and bullets. A leopard does not change its spots.

Finally Australia is currently rehashing its citizenship rule and regs, plus residential visas etc, hopefully to some how curb those bad guys and girls from obtaining such, and even if it prevents ONE of 'em from getting thru the cracks, and saves ONE Australian life, its all worth it. I wonder if Canada will follow thru and do the same?

Now in closing, Thats how I see it all, you can't educate them or win them with hearts and minds, as you cannot preach to the converted. They HATE everything about us, and they want to KILL us all, and being PC about it does nothing but buy them time in planning and preparing. Thats the reality of it whether you like it or not. It does not get anymore simple than that!

Radical islam is a worldwide ongoing problem and happily growning right in Canada and other western nations (RIGHT NOW), who in good faith opened their arms to these people as migrants, and this is the thanks we get. Its just a matter of time until something again bad happens in a western country. Lets just hope they can catch them before we have another London, or Kuta Beach.

EDITed for spelling

Wes

Don't hold back Wes, tell us what's really on your mind.

I occasionally have to bite on a reality 'sweet tart', hey do they still make those things overthere. i used to go mental on them when I was a kid. Then they were 5c a pack.

Cheers,

Wes

Yup,still around, but you can't make decent stink bomb with the empty packages anymore

Right on the mark, Mr. Allen. Unfortunately, the government of Canada is up to do jacksh*t when it comes to immigration. I have a feeling the next terrorist attack on the continent is going to have Canadian connections, without a doubt.

In grade 11, someone set off a bottle of Bear Mace in the upperstairs hall, forcing its evacuation. That is far worse. It's the new thing.

he could have been referring to Attila, as well. However, I've never read of everyone's favourite Scourge of God actually doing so. In fact, when when reading about Tamurlane, Attila, Genghiz Khan, etc, it almost seems as if history has simply lumped them all together, and the actions of one are automatically transferred to the others. (Not recent history, but the 'history' of pre and medieval Europe.)

It's unfortunate, because those 3 for instance, were radically different in approach and aims.

The Tamil's with hands down are the worst.
Yet the are allowed to operate here in Canada under many disguise's. >:(

So right Para but they were magnanimous to those who they invaded and respected the life style of those and even adopted the life styles of the lands they took.
It's too bad no one reads History to day,the computer has made kids dumber to day .  >:(

not all of them, and that's my point. Attila wanted wealth, and didn't want to change the Hun's lifestyle. He just wanted them to have Rome's loot. He would conquer, but leave things mostly untouched if unresisted. Genghiz wanted to improve the Mongol's lot. He also began (and his sons & grandsons continued) to ensure that the people he conquered were all equal. Timur was a bloody loon. He destroyed the irrigation in what is now Iraq/Iran, destroying the economies, and turning the area's breadbasket (and the cradle of civilization) into the desert of howling dervishes it remains.

I think that sometime in the middle ages, stories of all three began to blur together.
The above is just my hung-over ramblings, and if any true historians find fault, please edify.

And it seems "junior member" are slowly becoming a ruthless annoyance around here, with their imbecilic statemnets, and threads.

Add you guys to the poll above.

I agree.

On the other discussion. the term "terrorist" is just the term given to one group of people to discribe another. It is way too vague of a term to be used in a poll...

"one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter."

I don't agree there. I've never liked that phrase. Terrorists are distinctly different from freedom fighters to me. I differentiate by their actions. Terrorists target the innocent and helpless. Freedom fighters target military, intelligence, 'law enforcement', and government, while trying to minimize collateral damage.

To bring a little humor to this thread, who can forget the "MILF Rebels"?

Hey troops don't forget the Cape Breton Liberation Army were pretty radical ;) :threat: WTF over hahaha

I change my vote. I now vote for God. Every natural disaster that kills a crapload of people is called an act of God. Therefore, his body count is infinitely superior to anything perpetrated by man.  Stand down, folks, just a joke.. ;D

As I'm married to a Filippina  have family in the southern Philippines, and have visited there, including the regions in the article, could you please enlighten me as the "humour" part of it. I must have missed what's "funny" about the members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front that threaten my family.
