My husband will be finishing his basic training soon.  Will I be able to move with him while he does his basic military occupational training?

Depends on the trade and lenght of the course.

He is going infantry and his course will be for 7 months.  He will be on PAT for 2 months before the next course starts.  I am in Ontario and he will be posted in Alberta.

I doubt you will be moving until he gets posted in this case.

While he is doing his Infantry training the answer is no you cannot move to be with him. Well that is not entirely correct you as a free citizen can move where ever you want, but it would be a waste he will be staying in the accommodations provided and will be confined to barracks for a significant portion of the training. You might get to see him on weekends "Might".

You will however be able to move with him when he finishes his training and getsposted to Edmonton.
