My experiments with AI

The disappearing arm in the soldier in the background is a current telltale of AI generation. Apparently hands and arms create difficulty for AI at this point and time.

More fun with AI

My wife saving me from a crocodile

Deep Blue a Real great white shark

The 2018 calves on my farm and this one is very realistic

I use GROK from the X app. So far I have used it to design my trailer wiring and a few other things. I find it nice and straight forward. It's good for asking normal questions, then asking it to expand on the answer. If needed, it provides a number of links to further the explanation. I'm sure others have their favorites, but so far GROK has worked for me.

A study that seeks to define the limits of AI:

TLDR: good for simple to moderately complex operations, not so good at complex

Lets get those Lambs outta the kitchen (Thats been a real problem for us some years, don't ask)
Its a nightcafe AI art creation being animated using Pollo AI

And a shy lamb post bath

And a bison bull chilling out

Any glitches or "surprises" from what you look for yet? I notice Chat GPT can throw in a goofy, obvious mistake once in a while, but I don't use Grok as much.

Haven't noticed anything so far. Everything has been accurate. With my trailer wiring, I just listed all the components and told it to connect it all. Bus bars, chargers, solar, wind, invertors, batteries, etc. It laid it all out. Even told me to swap out some wire for a different gauge. User settings let you decide whether you want funny, sarcastic, ribald or serious conversation. I asked one day where our government was taking us. It listed all the things done recently (last few years to present) by them, then it confirmed my suspicions. If you cherish freedom, unity, a balanced cheque book, personal comfort, you're going to be disappointed.😉

I find myself using my search engine less and less. I asked it the other day to find me a certain battery, what was compatible if the original was unavailable, if I could use it without the thermister wire and what increase in mAh, cost and availability in my area. It found compatible, higher mAh, three wire batteries available locally, in Ontario and in Michigan. All from EBay, Amazon to Tiger Direct all the way down to places like Bud's Battery Emporium, including prices.

The biggest thing is to be accurate and complete when asking questions. The more info you feed it, the more complete your answer will be.

Zackly - even subtly different questions along the same lines can lead to very different answers on all the systems I've used.
