i searched around a bit to see if there was any situation similar to mine but i couldnt find anything so here goes:
so i went down to the recruiting office in Mississauga because i wanted to join the reserves, Queens own rifles to be exact , so the sergeant told me that they only handle regular force applications and if i wanted to join a reserve unit i had to go down to the specific unit i wanted to join, he gave me the numbers to the units i called them and one week the guy in charge of the recruiting wasnt in, so today i called again and they told me he was really busy and that i should either try applying online or going to the recruiting office in toronto on yonge street, so im now thinking that if i go down to the yonge street location they might tell me the same thing that they told me at the mississauga location so if i go there i might just be getting the same story twice. so im also thinking maybe i should just apply online but someone whose already in one of the reserve units told me that the online application takes forever to process. so thats my dilemma, im thinking of going down to the yonge street location tomorrow and see what they have to say but i just thought id run the situation by u guys on here see what the advice i can get is beacause im hoping i can get to do the basic training this summer so the earlier i get the application in the better. :-\
