Need some advice

Hi all. I would like to join the CF combat arm, preferably infantry. However, I have mild nearsightedness and serious astigmatism and I am worried that may affect my entry. Would someone give me some advice?

PS: by the way, what's the requirement for the PT for male?

Plenty of info on the above to be found by using the search function on the site. To give a quick answer about your eyes: "serious" astigmatism might be an issue and make you a V4, but the only way to find out is to go through the recruiting process yourself and get to the medical. Most medical issues are case by case as they obviously vary between individuals.
