Well here in the Brisbane area today, its anywhere from 94.9c/L to 104.9c/L. Meanwhile in Sydney its pushing $1.20/L. Aust $=77cUS.
It has been as low as the mid 80's/L, but has shotup in the past few weeks. Rumoured to be $1.20/L at the bowsers even here, all in the near future.

Propane/LPG is an alternative for cars/trucks, etc here and is quite popular, and thats about 39.5c/L. My current vehicle is dual fuel, so I can run on either type with 80L unleaded, and 60L LPG in the tanks, with an extened range in hwy km of over 1,200km. Currently I am getting about 450km/55L of LPG. Thats not bad considering I have an XLS Ford Falcon Ute AUII series 5 sp manual, w/4 litre 6 cyl, 157kw's of power.

Cheers,

Wes

86/ltr for regular unleaded and 99.9/ltr high test here in Suffield Alberta. Helps to have a motobike though.

A coworker just got back from Egypt.........7(yes seven) cents a litre

84.9/l here in Westlock, AB...  Good thing I only fill my truck twice a week... ::)

In Petawawa area Regular 89.9/l, premium/super $1.04.9/l.  On weekends the Reg ranges from 90-95/l.

Here in Borden its around the 90ish range for regular and 99 for supreme. Sucks that I have to use 91 for my sentra, but I only fill up once a week and it costs me only $35 so its all good. 8)

Here in Toronto the price changes daily, several times a day (makes you wonder??)

Yesterday's prices for regular unleaded:
91.7 when I got to work,
89.9 at lunch,
84.5 after work,
and in the evening when I finally filled up 76.0 (I paid 86.0 for high-test)

Today it's 91.9 and I predict that this evening it will remain in the 90-95 range, peaking tomorrow probably closer to 99.9 if not just over. (being teh start of the long weekend, natch)

These days, any time gas prices slip down past the 75 mark, people go insane and line up like crazy at the pumps.  You'd think they were looking at the last 5 barrels on Earth :p

Actually, I disagree.  I expect gas prices to be much lower on the long weekend.  Years of the public complaining about prices rising on the long weekend appear to have had an effect.  Now, when a long weekend is coming up, they jack up the prices on the weekend before and the weekend after...which, since it isn't a long weekend, people mistake for normal fluctuations.  That way everyone has a nice gas price for the long weekend.

Nothing's changed...it's just how it's implemented.

The 'rules' of supply and demand would tend to suggest that anytime supply outweighs demand (such as the evening of the 30th, when everyone's lined up around the block for that last fill on their way to the park/cottage) prices will rise since everyone's wanting fuel anyhow; I agree with you that during the long weekend, prices will stay moderate - but just watch and see if they don't rise during the height of the busiest travel times, at the very beginning and very end of the weekend (Thursday evening and Sunday evening)

you know there are times when I miss my car but in all honesty i'm *glad* that she passed away a few years ago.  Its amazing how much more money you have when you don't have to pay insurance and gas.

today was my first "Experiance" at the pump, 95.5. Eeks is this what I have to look forward to for the next some odd 50 or so years?
or untill we run out of gas....
