I remember some equipment on the 280s had a tally plate on them that included 'Royal Canadian Navy' on them, which was because they had a lot of common equipment from the steamers, and they equipment actually predated unification (or at least the spec it was built to did). It was on a few different things, but particularly remember it on the speakers for the PA system. Was a weird bit of history, especially seeing it in 2008ish on my first real ship posting.
