The Globe and Mail is reporting that we are out of Bosnia in 2004 to free up resources for Afghanistan.

Today‘s Toronto Sun also noted it, but didn‘t make the Afghanistan connection. It implied that we‘d pull out in 2004 only if NATO as a whole did.
 
Please Please Please Please let this be true. I don‘t look forward to yet another tour there. Fun the first time, and even the second time. Then it seems rather boring. VVV
 
That article has a quote from the MND, stating that we‘re the seconond most deployed in NATO... Yet we do this with the second smallest per capita budget....
 
CLS is saying by 1 Apr we are only going to have a 500 man contingent here as a monitoring and reporting force. Our scale down and pack up is to start after Christmas. Looks like its Afghanistan for a while now....
