Well Guys I am back. I was really frustrated the way my background check went that I had to use this forum to burn that frustration out. In fact after my posting I had a nice talk with an army officer over coffee. I went to the CSIS interview and the CSIS officer explained me in details the need and the diiference between various checks. I thank another member AmmoTech to answer my frustration. Anyways long story short, I am sorry to have hurt guys here.

I went to the CSIS interview and as promised by the CSIS officer, I got my answer within 2 weeks. The answer is "I AM RELIABLE FOR CANADIAN FORCES" HA. I have my interview and medical for direct officer entry. I changed my jobs options from army to navy. Any tips for interview and medicals.

Secondly, I have a question for physical at Basics. It has 4 components 20m run, hand grip, sit ups and push ups. Now there are a few combinations given on the website saying that one has to have threshold on fitness. What are the threshold fitness to continue? I am good at push ups and confident of 20m. I have diifculty in situps and hand grip. I can do just 5 situps and around 35kgs on hand grip. Please advice if I pass 20m, pushups, hand grip and fail situp will I continue with Basic or go on PAT ar discharged?

Kartik,

I would not worry about your physical fitness. I'm sure you will be able to reach the goals before you get to BMQ. You know what you have to do in order to do so... Work out ;)

As PMedMoe stated above, don't hesitate to use the search function on this site. You'll find a lot of answers.

Take care,
Alea
