…Yes, which is basically exactly the point I was alluding to. My <20km suburban-urban commute is precisely why a PhEV use case applies really well to me. Those living/working in areas or whose lifestyles (or even simply preferences) are not so conducive to PhEV or full EV use are just as welcome to stick with what works for them. I know that applies to many Canadians. I was just pointing out that large pickups are probably not a good barometer to be applied more broadly.And you are welcome to them for your 20 km commutes.
If that were me I might consider them as well.
But Canada is more than the sum of its cities.
