Saw that. I’m not getting too excited over that; there probably aren’t many degrees of Kevin Bacon when it comes to transnational cocaine networks. But the Toronto stuff still sounds pretty local overall. I doubt anything there has much to do with anything beyond the level of local trafficking, probably into the jail.

To be fair, I doubt you'll find many metropolitan police forces that have a clean record of impaired drivers amongst their ranks.

And the cleaner that record is the more suspicious I find it. Sometimes more people being charged doesn’t mean more crime is being committed, rather there are more officers doing their job and laying the charges they should.
