Police Folk Allegedly Behaving Badly

Oh, she’s gonna have a really bad time at a conduct hearing for sure.

With that said, if a civilian NDed their firearm into a neighbour’s house there would almost certainly be a criminal charge. I struggle to understand why any fellow police officer who NDs into a neighbour’s house while cleaning their firearm oughtn’t be charged. If the officer wants to argue ineptitude and poor remedial training, fine, that can be explored at trial.

That’s why there is an unknown to me- this would have been reviewed for criminal and we don’t know why it didn’t do anything. It’s incredibly weird.

I was in he SME for a similar file we took all the way to court in Sask a decade ago. There was no barrier to it being treated severely.

Our media response on that news story is baffling and makes it all look even worse.
