When you get right down to it. Basically all cruise missiles are just improved V1s.It reminds me of a V1 class with an improved guidance system.

It also tells you something about how far the Country has come since the 80s . If you had suggested then that the Navy was even considering conventionally armed cruise missiles. The nation was would have had a collective stroke.

Don't forget carbon fiber - you can CNC wrap cylinders - so the body/fuselage of a lot of the newer missiles is carbon fiber over a printed lattice.And the guidance systems are getting better and cheaper, as are the engines and other components.
