Hey guys so my qeustion is, once i go off to bmq, whenever that may be, afterwords id be going to mos trainings most likely in gagetown. Should i just sell my home furnishings ive acumulated over the years ie-lcd's couches electronics? Im just not 100% on how the exact situation will be, keeping in mind im applying as a reg force member. Will i be living in a barracks where everythings provided or will i be in charge of my own living situation and i should just keep my belongings in storage till that time?

Best bet would be to put them in storage if possible.  After BMQ, you will be attending your trades course.  Once you get posted to an actual unit, you may choose to reside in barracks, or find somewhere off base to live.  If you live off base, it is nice to have all that stuff available so you don't have to start refurnishing from scratch, and they will cover the expense of transporting that stuff to your new location.

Keep in mind that when you go off to BMQ, the CF will pack, load and store your stuff for you until you are ready to receive it a new posting.  It's OK if you wait until you have finished all your training and are posted to your first unit.  Lots of people do this, even if it takes a few years.  In short, you don't need to unload your stuff, just be prepared to be separated from it for awhile.

Ok thanks guys, decided ill let my mom use it when the time comes, till ill need it again.

Was curious about the same thing. Thanks for the information guys!
