Prescription Inserts Help

So I recently ordered new prescription inserts from the CDU for the ballistic glasses. During BMOQ they were fogged up a lot despite using the anti fog spray. What ballistic glasses should I buy that support the CAF prescription inserts and what modifications or accessories should I get to make my next course (BMOQA) easier with glasses?

Also any recommended frames or rx connectors that are compatable with the CAF issues prescription inserts?

Sometimes rubbing tooth paste (paste, not the gel) onto the lens then cleaning them off helps stop them from fogging up.

If I had to make a guess I'd think that the CAF Ballistic Eyeware Inserts were designed for the CAF Ballistic glasses and wouldn't fit in a civilian model (unless you get the civilian version - Sawflys).

You can order some popular Oakley sunglasses with prescriptions (like their M2) but it's expensive and you can't guarantee you'll be allowed to wear them on course or at your unit (when required to wear balistic protection).

Canadian Tire 6.99 bottle of hockey visor spray works well

Old referee trick: Use spray can of pledge. Thin layer works great. Visor spray also good if you want something handy.

Many moons ago, the dental techs/assistants were allowed to be issued prescription lenses (not inserts) for their ballistic eyewear for bedside assisting. I suppose you could buy some ballistic lenses in your Rx for a set of similar glasses, just make sure they're up to the specifications required for protection.
