Back when I was 19 and joined the reserves I lied about pot smoking back in highschool (I smoked pot for a month) I dont know why I did I just froze up. After the fact I didnt know how to come clean about it. I quit because of university/workterms. I'm now 25 done school and want to join the reserves again, is it worth attempting to join up again? The reason I ask if it is worth while is because I am not willing to lie again (I'm more mature these days), and by telling the truth they will know I did not tell the truth on my previous application. I am fine if this disqaulifies me, I just want to know if you guys think it will so I can save myself the embarrassment of being rejected because of it.

Truth, Duty Valor.

Honesty is an honorable attribute every solider must have.

Integrity is another.

I'm not sure I really understand the last two comments, does that mean you think it wont go well?

Follow Sx-Dragoon's advise.  You may find the person reviewing your file may be sceptical, but will give you an opportunity to explain.
